These are as good a pair of jeans that i own. the denim is very close to my battle stripe momotoro jeans for reference which is my favourite japanese denim. highly recommend

I gave them a second chance, this time ordering the Vintage Fit assuming it would be a bit roomier. However, even though they run true to size (I ordered a 32" I weigh 76 kg), the hips and thighs still fit like slim fit pants. It's disappointing because the denim quality is great and the details are beautiful. Apparently I'm not the only one with this complaint.

Also, If you want to return or exchange an item, you have to ship it back to the US!!! I looked into exchanging my pair from Europe, and the total cost including shipping, duties, and taxes came out to around half the price of the jeans themselves, absolute madness. That was just my experience, though.

My 3rd pair of Simple & Raw Jeans—at 5'7" and 148 lbs, ordering a Regular size 30 with a custom 28-inch inseam and a zip fly worked out great, and the waist fits true to size while saving me a trip to the tailor. The build quality is excellent, and one of my favorite subtle details is the belt loop running right around the Jacron patch. My only real wish is that Simple & Raw would offer a true Relax Taper fit in the future, similar to the Iron Heart 888 or Brave Star Strongman cuts, to give a bit more room in the hips and crotch ("lil bro" space 😉) while keeping a nice clean taper down the leg.

I was super stoked to get my jeans in. Very pleased with the quality but upon further inspection, on pair had the patch or jacron stitching already damaged. super bummed that it was like that.

It's the little details that matter the most! Beautifully crafted, attention to detail, innovative design ideas (inside lining with artistry, pocket details, matching hardware, hidden embroidery etc).

They only.... only thing that I'm struggling with is the fit, but I think that just might be my problem. I generally go for athletic fit and this pair is more like regular and for lean fit. I wish that could be addressed
