Sk845 Compass Ripstop (Dark Tan)
The classic “Ripstop Shorts” collection, a standout for durability thanks to its strong ripstop fabric. Ripstop began in World War II, when soldiers heading into combat needed clothing that was light and strong and resisted tearing on the battlefield. A weaving technique that adds reinforcing threads crosswise at regular intervals was adopted to strengthen the cloth and stop a tear from spreading.
The crotch is built as a gusseted crotch for extra strength. It spreads the pressure across the seams, so there are no stress points at the four seam junctions under the crotch, and it allows 180-degree freedom of movement. The elasticated waist adds ease of movement, with an adjustable strap for a snug fit. There are also front and back pockets for carrying your gear, ready for any activity or for everyday wear.
