Sk853 Red Edition 16.5oz.

We spent more than 6 months developing this fabric: 16.5oz. red selvedge denim from a Japanese mill in Okayama. It has a distinctive hand and is not too heavy, but is built for sharp fades. It is easy to wear comfortably all year round in our local climate. The Deep Indigo shade is darker than the standard version, ideal for anyone who loves dark denim that fades easily with beautiful dimension.

The highlight of this model is the pocket lining in the “Red Edition” design, inspired by Tribal Tattoo, the Polynesian art of tattooing with its distinctive line work, a symbol of strength and courage. The design sits on a red lining that contrasts boldly with black.

The seams throughout are sewn with alternating red and yellow thread, and the buttonholes are red, which expresses the Red Edition character well. Alongside the red selvedge, the hem is finished with a traditional chain-stitched method (which can create a roping effect at the hem as it fades).

Another highlight is the red genuine leather patch with the “Red Edition” text icon, one of the charms of this special model, designed exclusively for it.
